Erin Parker

Safety & Pharmacovigilance

With more than 20 years of global pharmacovigilance and device safety experience, Erin has a passion for providing drug safety services for emerging oncology therapies. She specializes in developing pharmacovigilance teams, processes, and systems, focusing on ensuring high quality and efficient safety data collection, analysis and reporting throughout the lifecycle of drug and device development. She has experience implementing, performing, and overseeing all aspects of global drug and device safety from SAE collection to expedited reporting to global competent authorities, ethics committees and investigators. She also has experience handling multiple safety database implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

Throughout her career, Erin has provided strategic leadership and oversight to successfully grow and develop pharmacovigilance departments at multiple clinical research organizations. Most recently she held the role of Vice President, Pharmacovigilance at Worldwide Clinical Trials. Prior to that, Erin was the Executive Director, Safety Management at Synteract where she provided global leadership and oversight to Safety Surveillance, Pharmacovigilance Systems and Medical Coding teams.

Erin has a MS in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is also licensed as a Registered Nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
